This product makes too much noices
I purchased this elliptical for Christmas. Everything was fine until about the third use, The machine started to make a loud sound from the flyweel and a loud clicks from around pedals. A tech came to the house and told me that the problem was that the machine was on a carpet. I put playwood undernead and the machine started making an even louder knocking noise after the first thirty minutes of use, needless to say it is going back and I am getting my money back,

Don't Buy! Deserves Zero Stars...
I purchased this elliptical and paid for installation. All was fine until about the tenth use, I was going at a steady pace, then a few loud clicks and all of a sudden the entire left side broke off, I was very fortunate that I did not get hurt. New parts were sent by Epic and a tech came out to repair. After one use it started to make a clicking noise again, so Dick's suggested swapping it for a new machine. The new machine started making an even louder knocking noise after the first thirty minutes of use, needless to say it is going back and I am getting my money back, Although this entire purchase has been a pain, I will say that Dick's customer service has been great.

terrible installation issues
Paid for delivery and installation at time of purchase. First time tried to use and my daughter fell off right side because of faulty installation. Still waiting for repair to fix so we can use machine. Very disappointed.

a Potentially good elliptical but ...
Elliptical machine itself is great - one solid design - smooth stride.
However the console computer which drives the Elliptical is another story.
The console briefly worked until firmware upgrade which then all failed to work. Elliptical failed to recline and no resistance control and console failed to register RPM. After several calls to resolve issue with Epic, One support person mention they would send replacement console but I would have to install it. I tried to explain the warranty covers LABOR and parts for 2 years - and Support person mention LABOR means support by phone and not a technician installation. After I threaten to return machine to Dick's Sporting Goods, Support person then scheduled a technician but now the problem is the console is on back order - so still waiting for replacement console. Elliptical machine gets top grade - However Computer console and Support gets a ZERO.

Don't waste your time
Bought this machine in September. Since then have had four replacement consoles mailed to me, the machine entirely replaced by Epic, at least 40 hours either on the phone or with techs at my house. Had the machine working for about a month, performed an update only to have the console crash again with Epic sending another console. When working it is great, but not worth the trouble.

We're very satisfied
We're very satisfied with this elliptical trainer - logged over 357 miles since the end of Oct. '12. Very smooth, quiet operation. Only "complaint" is that the right handle bar resistance control actually changes the ramp and the left labeled "ramp" controls the resistance - the console controls work as marked!

Eliptical motivator
After using my Epic A32E Eliptical for about four months, I have found it to be incredibly efficient and an excellent motivator for aerobic workouts. With the iFit screen tracking me along mountain roads, winding village streets, and waterfront routes, with automatic adjustments in resistance, this equipment motivates you to push harder and longer as you virtually travel through all sorts of terrain using a Google map that you can input yourself. It lives up to its reputation as part stair-climber, part cross-country-ski machine and enables me to track my progress in miles, hours and overall effort.

Frustrating, non-working, no real support, will be returned!
This machine looks alright and seems pretty smooth while free-wheeling. I say free-wheeling because the little Android tablet that is suppose to control the machine doesn't reliably boot up. On the few occasions when the computer booted, none of the console buttons work, rpm reads zero, and incline

Love This Machine!
Elliptical is excellent. Replaced a Golds Gym Elliptical. My toes no longer go numb and my ankle no longer feels the pain like the old elliptical. Screen is beautiful and the elliptical automatically elevates and declines due to the terrain you are running through IFIT. You much purchase IFIT to have full privelages. Free version is a joke. Its well worth it though cause it motivates you.
