Nice case but 1st one broken Got this for our son for Christmas. The first one purchased was broken. We returned it and have had good luck with the replacement. Nice case, just started with a broken one. January 16, 2015
Serves it's purpose This product is serves it's purpose well for an affordable price! The case itself is durable, yet the rifle will slide around inside because there is only egg carton foam surrounding the rifle, nothing to actually hold it in place. If you are on a tight budget, it'll hold up for a while, but if you've got a little more money to spend, I'd go ahead and get a case that will steady the rifle inside the case and protect it from the elements. Decent case, snug on bolt action. I purchased one for my semi-auto .22, and even with a scope on high mounts, it fits beautifully (38" long rifle). I was so pleased, that I purchased a second case for one of my bolt action rifles, also scoped. The fit is definitely a bit snug, regardless of the bolt lever being up or down. Length of the case is perfect. If you want a good quick and affordable case for travel, this is a good bet. However, for secure transport (like airplane travel) you will definitely want to step up to a larger reinforced case. This case is a nice alternative to soft cases, for transport to the range or in/out of woods. I'll probably buy another one. January 13, 2015
cheap but filmsy You can get a better case for the same price at cabelas January 13, 2015
GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE!!! Great fix for a gun that needed good protection for travel. January 13, 2015
looks better than it is handle Flimsy foam is like the type you get package thin and it's not attached moves all over the place doesn't close well January 13, 2015
plano case he was happy with it at Christmas time!!!!! and is using it now for deer season.. January 3, 2015
Good but could use more filler The case has good outer protection but rifle with scope is a very tight fit without touching the side or handle area. Foam padding is very thin and rifle may shift in case if bumped slightly. Little thicker foam padding would make a big difference in protection. For the price I will put extra padding in myself. This is exactly what i was looking for in a inexpensive gun case Light weight and sturdy enough for everyday hunting gun carry. Very good product for the money. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for an inexpensive gun case for all different uses. December 10, 2014
Great product for the price. I purchased this case to keep my rifle in, once you put it in there and pick it up the rifle did not move at all. The foam keeps it secure. December 10, 2014
