super slow and button already broken off The scrolling doesn't work consistently, it is super slow doing everything and after 5 uses the button on the side has already fallen off. I'm going to return it this weekend and try to by the Garmin one. October 16, 2012
highly recomend not buying when unit was down loaded it said ok and then i was sent an email that states it was down loaded evrytime i turn it on it says am not. went to golf course worked two holes and stopped has to restarted worked one hole had to restart i think either i got a bad unit or it just stinks returning pronto. Callaway U PRO GPS SAVE YOUR MONEY This is definely a flop for Callaway go back to the drawing board and maybe do some testing before before release. Didn't do my homework. Do yourself a favor if GPS buy brand. NOT USER FRIENDLY AND WOULD JUST CUT OFF FOR NO REASON HAVING TO START AGAIN AND GET BACK TO CORRECT HOLE. Done the update and it got worse. Do yourself a favor talk to players at course see what they use. It will save you inthe long run. August 26, 2012
Callaway uPro MX GPS Unit One complaint about the unit. There is no way to turn off the "sleep" funtion. I even asked Callaway if they are going to gave a software fix for it. They said, sorry no. Just so you know what happens: The unit shows what you want, then in 30 seconds the screen goes blank. So you then have to press the on/off button to wake it up. This is frustrating when you are watching the screen as you drive between holes, etc. JEM August 23, 2012
nice it is really helpful. it tells you how far to sand traps and the green and the first time I used it I lowered more score by 3 strokes. The only complaint I have is it isn't easy to sync it to macs August 14, 2012
Don't have a stroke, save some stokes. I have used the upro mx four times on three different courses using the "pro mode". I generally score in the mid to upper eighties, but with the upro I have scored a low of 79 with the other 3 rounds being in the low eighties. The greatest help to me is knowing the yardage reqiured to clear a hazard. My brother has an older GPS unit that does not provide this information plus he pays yearly fees, and has to up load courses. With the upro mx even if you do not use the "Pro Mode" down load you can still use the basic at most any course you play. July 26, 2012
I like this so far This seems to be easy to use. It is small enough to put into your pocket after you walk to your ball. the screen is small but clear. I need reading glasses and I dont need them for this unit. July 26, 2012
