Good down
Very light with 800 fill?quite warm if wore as inner jacket

Great coat
Very warm and wind resistant. It is also very light weight. I have worn it out in 30 mph winds when it was below freezing and been perfectly comfortable. Have had it about a month and no issues yet. I think it is very good coat. Just wish it came In more color choices.

Warm, lightweight jacket
The Men's Nitrous Down Jacket is a nice warm, lightweight jacket that I'd estimate you can wear it down to about 30 F and feel comfortably warm. It is not super thick, which allows you to layer as needed. I am about 5'10" 210 lbs with broad shoulders and chest and have found the Mountain Hardware jackets to run a little small, so you might want to keep that in mind. The XL fit me fairly well and was loose enough not to restrict movement. I also have a Mountain Hardware 3-in-1 jacket in L, and the fleece is pretty tight. Interestingly enough I can layer this jacket over the fleece or under the hard shell, which has been very useful.
Overall it's a nice product and I use it regularly, but if you're going to be out in sub-freezing temperatures frequently, you should be prepared to use it as an additional layer or find another warmer, more hefty jacket.

Awesome!
I love the coat - it's thin enough that I can move all around, but warm enough that I am never cold. It's also got enough water resistance that I don't worry about being in the rain for a bit.

This is a light weight and good for winter

I noticed that there is a scrach after 1 month of wearing in the coller area so I returned to store.

This is a great insulating midlayer for use under a windbreaker, or by itself when it's dry out. Check your local Dick's store, these have been marked down 50% off as they're closing out certain winter coats. After all of the store discounts, the price was under $75.

Ultra light, warm when there is no wind
I like the down jacket. It is ultra light. It is warm when I wear it outside when it is 30 F. However, the jacket cannot stop the wind. The cold wind will blow away my temperature. So if you live a very cold weather, plz purchase a wind stopper for this down jacket which will make you feel better.
