Durable & Warm Value
I bought this Omni-HEat Thermarator Jacket because I wanted to upgrade from my Casual Columbia Fleece to something warmer and more durable. I live in MN where Fall through beginning of Spring can be below freezing. This Jacket serves as a great single-insulating layer for Freezing temperatures, as well as a great fall Jacket. The Omni-Heat Technology really does insulate, and give it a wind-proof feeling. Very durable materials, zippers and fit. Overall it's a great "Smart-Warm" Buy!
Although, I had ordered a set picture with lime-green zipper trim on the Heather-Deep Woods color, which my jacket did not come with, I chose to keep it, because apparently, Columbia "never made" or "only made limited number" of the style Dick's had shown they had - I'm satisfied, nevertheless!
If you want a Winter Jacket - I would upgrade one more step heftier in Columbia's Jacket line.
