Koppen Vest zipper seems faulty
I love this jacket - however twice the zipper has unzipped from the bottom up - i thought it was toast, but when i rezipped it - it seemed okay - but it happened again - I was going to exchange but it was on clearance and no others like it. :( - Maybe Koppen will fix.

Lightweight yet warm
I LOVE this vest. I wish I would have gotten another one in a different color. Works great under my winter coat...no need for a hat...I can use the hood on the vest. Washes nice and looks great. I get many complements every time I wear it!

Great vest BUT...zipper again! Come on Koppen!
AGAIN, the zipper on the vest is garbage. I purchased the down jacket as well from Koppen and they are both aesthetically pleasing (hence my purchase) as well as quite warm. The only complaint is the zippers on these jackets/vests are awful. One quick move and zip too quick, you are out of luck as the zippers are small, fragile and weak. I figured that when the zipper goes, I will have my alterations guy put in one that Patagonia would be proud of!
Take away: Koppen, get your zipper right next year!

hooded vest
The hooded vest has several good points. It's light weight, has a comfortable fit and is size appropriate. The zipper is not a good one. It's sticky, unzips from the bottom up and is disappointing. The pockets are shallow and the items contained within, (gloves, chap stick) fall out easily. The vest is washable, which is good. The style would be more useful with a stronger zipper and deeper pockets. Thank you.
