Nike Men's Element Thermal Full Zip Running Jacket 4 5 5 5
Very comfortable and keeps you warm Comfortable, light and warm with thumb hole that keep the arms secure when running. January 29, 2013
Great thermal jacket I'll start by saying this: I'm new to running. I don't have years of experience. I bought this last night because (no particular order) A) it was the least expensive thermal running jacket B) it fits really nicely C) it's warm D) it was going to be 6º F (-10º with wind) the next day and I was determined to run You could definitely wear it against the skin (zipper is covered with soft fabric on the inside so cold metal would not touch your front side) however, I wore it over top of a lighter reebok pull over thermal shirt (like under armor). Even over top of the lighter thermal, the Nike jacket performed great. Thanks to the thumb holes, the sleeves slipped right into my gloves, and I had no exposed skin, except my face. I zipped it halfway down towards the end of my run. That was great for temperature control. For that reason, I'll probably always wear it over a compression shirt (the neighbors don't need to see my pale torso). It's ridiculously comfortable. I'm probably going to buy another one just to wear around the house, or under my general purpose light weight jackets when the weather gets bad. January 22, 2013
Great product, solid construction, wear against the skin. This is a great cold-weather item. Durable material & solid zipper. Provides some protection from the wind. I wear this by itself to temperatures down to about 25 +/- depending on the wind. The only problem I have is the design is that it is meant to be worn against the skin, but the description reads to be an outerwear item ("jacket"). I ordered the size based on the size charts, but I should have gone one size smaller to make it fit snug, but I will still use the one I ordered. I am an avid outdoors man and veteran 100-mile ultramarathoner; this is definitely something I would wear in a 100-miler. December 24, 2012
Quality zip up While this jacket is extremely nice, it should have a price tag around $60-$70, and should not be priced at almost $100. Definitely does not offer enough warmth for new york winter temperatures, but would be very useful for 40 degree temperatures and above. Could also be used as a very nice base-layer. Very comfortable fabrics, you can move easily in it, but runs a little bit small. Overpriced, but quality zip up by Nike. December 1, 2012
Wrinkling Jacket wrinkles very easy and appearance at that point is poor. October 30, 2012
