Customer Reviews:

Rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by very low quality very cheaply made. only metal is the blade. handle is very very flimsy. feels like it will not hold up June 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gerber Excellent knife for the $$$. Opens easy sharp and the non slip grip works great. Think it would skin a deer without a problem June 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Its a Knife and nothing more This knife originally listed at $39.00 I figured I would try out another Gerber after having questionable luck with quality on previous knives. The reason I chose to try the knife was it was on sale for 15.00. The Quality of handle is Mediocre (plastic ) the knife steel quality is poor as well. The edge does not hold for any length of time. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the sharpest tool in the shed. I had the top half-inch snap off a Buck Gentleman a few days ago and went to find a replacement for every day carry. The Gerber was around the Buck's price range, and I liked the feel of the handle. The display model seemed okay, but the one I bought was dull out of the package. I spent about 10 minutes getting the edge to an acceptable sharpness, but within a few days--with only very light work--it was dull again. It doesn't hold an edge nearly as well as the Buck did. For something pointy or sturdy, it's fine. But if I need an edge, I'm glad to have a Kershaw Leek around. February 26, 2013
