This product is worthless
I could not be more disapointed. The few pictures it took were good quality, but the game had to be standing directly in front of the camera less than 10 yards. I watched a sow and two cubs pose for a picture at 15 yards in front of the camera for more than 10 seconds broadside. It couldnt have been a better pose for where the camera was setup. I was excited to review the pictures with my son and to my disbelief the only pictures on the camera were of me checking the size of the tracks after the bear left. I'm not putting this junk in a bear box next year, hopefully the bears get it.

my son loves it
GOOD STARTER CAMERA. BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON. IT HAS TAKEN NUMEROUS NIGHT TIME PHOTOS WHICH ARE VERY CLEAR

No nighttime pictures
I bought this camera the day after Thanksgiving. Right out of the box, the nighttime pictures were solid black. You cannot even see an outline of the object it was photographing. The camera only snaps a picture if you are standing directly in front of it. It has not taken a single picture of any game during the day or at night.

Failure rate
I have had two Wildgame Innovations cameras, an IR3 and an IR5 both failed after one year. The IR5 just quit working entirely, couldn't even turn it on at the beginning of the second hunting season I had it. I did not buy the extended warranty, but DICK's was kind enough to swap me out on an older model IR3. I am trying to use that one for the second year, but it is failing now. It will take pictures of me but not game. Camera is set up in a place well populated by game. Can't even capture images of squirrels. Am about to give up on game cameras. I can't afford to buy a new camera every year. Besides, if you spend all this money on gadgets your venison will cost more per pound than Angus Beef. Kind of defeats the purpose for some.
