Quality, Comfort & Practical
At even a higher price, these pants would be worth it. But on sale and w/Dick's coupon discount...they were an unbelievable find! Although a woman, I usually prefer [most] men's hiking pants to women's because they sit higher on my waist which I find more comfortable when hiking plus guy's pants tend to have more pockets & other useful features than women's pants. (A medium in these fit my normally size 6 frame for any other women reading this interested in sizing info and for guys fyi these are cut on the smaller side.)
Columbia consistently makes quality merchandise w/more practical features than most other outdoor clothes manufacturers. Omni-Heat metallic lining is superior for warmth on 30 degree-days (added base layer takes you comfortably below 20). Gusseted crotch, articulated & extra padded knees, drawstring cinch bottoms w/ankle zips & snaps, ample cargo & rear zip pockets, along w/water repellent material make these a go-to trail pant till warm spring temps kick in.

Super Comfortable, very easy to move in
Pants were bought for a female, even though they are men's pants. Very comfortable. Bought to wear Snow Tubing. Did very well. Still a little cold, but temperature was 24 degrees with snow, so overall pant did perfect.
