Warm, but runs a little small for a mens beanie. Like the Omni-Heat, would have preferred more color selection but it is end of the season

I got this at the end of winter sale and it has not been cold enough in NE Florida for me to give it a try in cold weather. It fits great and feels like it would be really warm. I love the brand and the red and gray match my Columbia parka so getting this on sale for $18 with free shipping was a huge win for me!

This hat was great for a cold and snowy lake effect day of fly fishing. The hat alone was fine in the wind up to about 30 to 32 degrees F. Once it dropped below 30, i needed another layer on my head. I don't have any natural insulation on my head so that might contribute to temperature limit I experienced. A hooded jacket and the Omni-heat beanie will be perfect for me in temps below 30.
