Rated 5 out of 5áby Lynn Great for small women! To stabilize/build bone density, I need to add weight to my small frame. After trying a weight vest that created shoulder issues, I found this fantastic weight belt. At $30 less than the vest, it's way more comfortable, i.e. it's cooler, doesn't restrict my chest/lungs, and sits comfortably on my hips where I need an increase in density the most. Another big plus is its adjustability ... the small weights mean increasing the weight load in very small increments over time so you can adjust to greater and greater load without lower back irritation. Unlike the bulky sand bags used in the weight vest I bought first, this belt's bullet-like weights are slender enough to flex with the contours of my small body. The belt's padding also makes for a very comfy fit. A word about sizing: belt is fine for someone with waist size of 27" although unneeded velcro may need to be trimmed off. Bottom line: belt is well-made and the perfect solution for menopausal women who want to maintain bone density without drugs! July 10, 2013
