Great pants to put on when you hit the slopes! Great windbreaker! Hard to find sizes tall and slim enough but the Velcro adjustment (available only on some of the Marmot pants) helps to tighten them up. Have to go with a large to get enough length

Rated 4 out of 5 by J Good pant with small design oversight
Purchased pant for snow sports. For the price I got (40% off, I can't complain too much). Shipping was very quick - I selected free and received it earlier than the estimate. Size is accurate, but if you want some extra room for protection, like impact shorts, go a size up unless you are at the bottom end of the sizing chart. The insulation kept me warm and not sweaty during a day in the 30's. Biggest issue I had was with the front pockets. Zippers are designed to be pulled up (toward core) to close instead of down, which is my personal preference, and they have Velcro flaps to ensure pockets are sealed. However the Velcro section is really small and is designed to have the hard, prickly side, on the leg facing out and the soft side on the pocket flap that will cover over. If the pockets are left unvelcroed, the bottom part will then adhere to anything it touches - such as my jacket material - and start tearing the material up.

Great pants for a great price. My only complaint is that the flaps over the pocket zippers is sewn down so tight that it makes it challenging to get into the pockets, and they catch snow on deep powder days.

I'm 5'10, and I wear 32/30 or 32/32 jeans. I purchased the mediums and they are a perfect fit.
Also, the tags show that they are 20K/20K for waterproofing and breathability and they certainly feel that way. There are no vents but I don't think that's an issue at all.
There is a bit of padding due to the insulation but the pants are not bulky.
I agree with others, these are very well built and will keep you warm and dry.
I would recommend them especially right now with 40% off (you end up paying around $75). I think if you order in store you might get free shipping but otherwise you can always add something to your order to exceed $99. I received them in 2 business days.
For comparision: I also purchased TNF Slasher Cargo pants. They are more stylish, with the boot clip and vents, but they are not as warm. They also do not have as much insulation as these Marmot. I believe TNF are probably rated 10K/10K.

Caught these on sale. The pants are warm and very durable. Have not had a chance to use them yet, but Marmot has great products! I'm 6', 190lbs and bought the large. The length is just right, they're just slightly loose in the waist. They won't fall down while on the slopes though!!! Ha!

After a long day of skiing in Park City, UT, I was very satisfied with these pants. They were warm, comfortable, and easy to wear. I initially ordered a large, because I am 30x34 in jeans and I was worried about length; the large waist was much too big, so I exchanged for the mediums, and they fit great! Would definitely suggest trying them in store if possible for the perfect fit.

I bought a pair of these for a ski trip in CO and they did not disappoint. In 0 degree weather, my legs were warm in just the pants and a medium weight base layer. They are very durable, comfortable, and waterproof.
