Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Board for the Money! Please keep in mind two things as you read, one this is a great board for the price, and two, I am very experience with kayaks, windsurfers, and boards of any type. This board is not for serious paddlers who want a board for advanced technical skills. It is heavy, tracks poorly, and is fairly soft. If you are a serious paddler you should not even be considering a plastic board anyway. I you are a weekend paddler who just wants the feeling of standing on the water and plucking a wave or two, this board will be fine. The paddle was more than effective for a novice. The board is very stable and feels good under your feet. The plugs have eyelets for string and I recommend tying them to the rigging. I also recommend putting an anchor on the front most plug. The fins can be secured to the board also and elastic chord is provided. My son is a novice paddler and he loves this board. He had it in nasty Lake Erie chop and said it was fine. I took it out on a windy day with my Border Collie as a passenger and intentionally left the fins off to see how it would handle. Even with the high winds, no fins, and a moving dog it was a great boat! If you just want a sturdy fun board and take care of your equipment, this board will serve you and your kids well. Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT deal for the price! If you are on a budget and have a big family like we have, this board is THE board to buy! It's heavy as heck, yes you have to paddle extra to keep up with the $1,000 boards, and yes it is heavy duty plastic...BUT... who has $1,000 for ONE board when you have 5 kids??? We bought 3 of these when they were on sale for $299, and used our 10% off coupon. We couldn't beat the price. Our children figured them out in less than an hour and are total beach bums on these. They paddle, they sit on them with friends and chat, they fish from them. What more can you ask for from this board? July 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comment to Lost Fins We lost a fin during vacation. I called the company and they mailed me a package of 2 fins. Just thought I would share the information. I still love the fact that I didn't need to spend alot of money on paddle boards to have fun. These are durable and sturdy. We have enjoyed taking them to the river and beach. September 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by When you HAVE to have a paddle board for flat water, this one will do just fine. I bought this paddle board slightly worried that it was more "toy" than paddle board, but have discovered that it fits my needs just fine. For $400, it's a great board, very stable, and is light enough that I can manage it by myself (on and off a roof rack.) I'd recommend it! September 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by good for young and old.I am 70 yrs old and my grand kids are using it too. What fun 5 stars good construction, good quality, sturdy, and fun fun fun January 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great overall value I've only tried two paddleboards, but this one seems more stable than the other more expensive and lighter board. The only negatives are an inability to stand sideways and a relatively cheap paddle. Ive found out good paddles cost over $150, so you get what you pay for. I look forward to many happy hours on this durable board! January 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fun! These boards are perfect for every age group. My children, grandchildren, family and friends have had a blast using them. My sister had 2 given to her as a gift. Tried paddle boarding and I decided to buy 2 more. What fun! I have had to call the company to replace the rudders which fell off one board and to replace some plugs, The company sent parts immediately. August 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Paddle Board for the Money I read the reviews on this board and took a chance anyway because I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I love this board. I use it on a lake that does get boat traffic. I don't use it on busy days, but can navigate with a boat or jet ski around. It's a very stable board and I have not had any trouble with fins falling out as reported by some reviewers. It is heavy so my husband has to help me lift it out of the water. He is able to lift it by himself if needed. I'm 5'2" and weigh 130 pounds. My husband is 6 feet and 200 pounds and he says the board "gives too much", but he has horrible balance as well. I've seen other men on it and they seem fine. Bear in mind - some of these boards can cost well over $1,000 so you're getting what you pay for. I would recommend this board for beginners and if you just want to play around on a lake or calm river. I did get it on sale, which made it even more attractive. August 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice product, nice price! My wife has been dreaming of getting a paddleboard for two years, and I finally found a good one that I can afford. It's great! I especially like the fact that it's "ding" resistant. January 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy rider Easy to use for the beginner or the not so nimble. Lots of fun and exercise. March 8, 2015
