Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lightweight for who? They state the "carry weight" of this is 40 lbs. I don't see how. I'm 5'10" and 200lbs and fit and this unwieldy beast is a struggle for me to carry from the car to the stream/lake. It doesn't have any useful handles anywhere near its center of gravity so you're always fighting to keep it off the ground. It's by far the heaviest 40 lbs I have ever lifted and I can squat 400 lbs. I'm returning mine and buying a foam core. Save your money for a foam core board. This thing is a nightmare to handle. September 27, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Lost fins after 6 rides Bought this because of price. Very bulky and hard to handle. Lost fins and can't find replacements September 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by When you HAVE to have a paddle board for flat water, this one will do just fine. I bought this paddle board slightly worried that it was more "toy" than paddle board, but have discovered that it fits my needs just fine. For $400, it's a great board, very stable, and is light enough that I can manage it by myself (on and off a roof rack.) I'd recommend it! September 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Beginner Product Purchased this as a gift for a friend with a house on the pond. Fun product for all ages and sizes. User friendly - offers great stability. Overall good value for a paddle board. August 27, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Paddle Board for the Money I read the reviews on this board and took a chance anyway because I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I love this board. I use it on a lake that does get boat traffic. I don't use it on busy days, but can navigate with a boat or jet ski around. It's a very stable board and I have not had any trouble with fins falling out as reported by some reviewers. It is heavy so my husband has to help me lift it out of the water. He is able to lift it by himself if needed. I'm 5'2" and weigh 130 pounds. My husband is 6 feet and 200 pounds and he says the board "gives too much", but he has horrible balance as well. I've seen other men on it and they seem fine. Bear in mind - some of these boards can cost well over $1,000 so you're getting what you pay for. I would recommend this board for beginners and if you just want to play around on a lake or calm river. I did get it on sale, which made it even more attractive. August 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great fun! These boards are perfect for every age group. My children, grandchildren, family and friends have had a blast using them. My sister had 2 given to her as a gift. Tried paddle boarding and I decided to buy 2 more. What fun! I have had to call the company to replace the rudders which fell off one board and to replace some plugs, The company sent parts immediately. August 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good easy board. Family friendly!! Got this for present for son who turned 45 ... In Miami, Fl. He is having a blast with it . My 3 grandchildren are using it too - ages 18, 17 and 10 1/2. August 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product was great for our vacation! I bought two of these for vacation, I should have bought the one on display too! I had never been on a paddle board and with older teenagers I wasn't going to spend the money for them to destroy. These were perfect. The only thing I can say is they are a little heavy, but we managed. By the end of the week, they had already been scuffed from the seawall of the beach house, so I am glad I didn't spend a lot of money on them. I am still thinking about purchasing another one or two, because we have enjoyed them so much. August 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Holds water and fins fall out I have a pricey fiberglass board, a blow-up board, and this one. It is steadier than the blow up one but not as steady as the fiberglass one. This one has a hole in the middle which causes water to pool in the middle ridge. It doesn't impact the usability but is distracting for some users. But the worst part is the two back fins screw in place and easily come undone. One fell in the water and so now it has two very large holes in the back and no fins. I have contacted the manufacturer. IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT, GLUE THE FINS IN SOMEHOW! August 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by No problem on Class 2 rivers Since I am a whitewater canoeist and have lugged 70 lb canoes around, the 40 lb + weight didn't bother me as much as the lack of grip, but I finally realized that you can tug this creature up and down mountainside with a rope and do the bottom no harm. I've even shoved it down 20 ft rock beds...The board will easily tackle class 2--provided you stay away from hitting rocks with your nose--and, above all, remove fins. It has great stability through waves and because it is slow-moving, lines up better to the rapids. I have not stood up on class 3 yet but I have paddled class 3 kneeling. If I ever get more stable (took me a good while to feel stable in lakes), I may switch to a more unstable but more mobile, surfing SUP. For now, this is perfect! July 25, 2014
