time delay
The camera and video modes work great but there is about a 3 second time delay from when it is activated till it actually starts filming/recording. 3 seconds is a long time if someone is coming onto your property or if you have ghosts. I have both. 3 seconds equals about 20 foot and someone can be out of site or even gone by the time it starts.

Bear bait
I absolutely love this camera - it worked great and took great pictures. The only problem was the infrared flash (flashes a red glow at night) which perturbed a passing black bear which first eyeballed the camera then bit it, more or less destroying it - all caught on the camera at 2 AM one October night. I replaced it with a Big Game brand camera which advertised "no visible flash" - that camera died after just a month out on the tree (and not attacked by a bear or any other critter) - it was a piece of junk. I am buying another Bushnell and will just take my chances with the bears.

Easy To Set Up
I'm not a "techie", but I found setting up my new Bushnell Bone Collector Trophy Cam HD very simple. The unit actually has more features than I plan on using at this time. In just five days of having the trailcam setup, we got over 50 pictures of deer and wild turkeys on our first viewing.

Finally! A Trailcam that Works!
I've been feeding deer apples in my backyard for the past 3 weeks, so I wanted to see if any bucks were visiting my backyard at night. I tried 2 other trailcams before finally getting results! I first tried the Moultrie D-IR55 ($119#, had it up for 3 nights, and it only took pics of me walking in and out of the woods. I returned that and exchanged it for a Primos Truthcam Ultra 40 #$129), that camera didn't take 1 picture, and drained 100% full 8-AA batteries in 1 night! I decided to see if a more expensive camera would do the job, so I bought this Bushnell camera. After 1 night in my backyard, I am finally able to see what has been eating the apples at night! Aparently with trailcams, you do get what you paid for. I am very satisfied with this camera.

''Great Camera''
I've used a lot of cameras and so far this is the best camera I've used. All features work well, detection and flash range flash, night and day photos, battery life. The only white out pics I've had is when animals were almost touching the camera.
