Rated 3 out of 5by Too Small We took it back. Too small at the feet for a 6'2 person. October 24, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5by Not Worth The Money This sleeping bag is wicked warm and all, but the quality STINKS! While I was camping up in Pittsburg, New Hampshire, I tried to zip it up, and the zipper just completely broke! I've never used it prior to this incident, so I know it was nothing that I did! I don't recommend this product to anyone. April 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5by Not really a bargain if it breaks! I had two of these and the zipper failed on both after 2-3 uses. Save time and prevent a cold night by spending the money on a Marmot Rockaway or another name brand XL Mummy. March 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5by Nice Bag, Awful Zipper The bag was great for the price and would have scored higher if not for the zipper which (as I have found is a common problem) failed during the first time we took it in the field. Field and Stream needs to take a serious look at that part of the bag. March 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5by Great warm bag, bad zipper. Bought this bag at Dick's Sporting Goods about 1 year ago for cold weather camping with my son's scout troop. It is a great warm bag however the 2nd time I used the bag the zipper came apart in the middle. I was able to re-zip and it worked again. Took it out a couple of weeks ago and the zipper failed again. Looking at return options but am not hopeful after one year even though it has only been used 4 times. January 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5by Final Review This is my 3rd and final review of this bag. 2nd review... After my last review I did return it for an exchange to try it again. Cons: The zipper still will snag on the upper section, draw string still comes lose. Have to be very careful with the zipper. Pros: Lots of room, comfortable and warm. So far the coldest I used it was waking up to a surprising 20F. I would have never known it was that cold as I was very warm inside the bag yet everything around me had froze. Overall: Great bag for a good price, just be cautious with the zipper as to not snag it and break it. Dick's return and exchange so far in my experience it tops as I have had to return other items before. I also raised my rating to 4 stars. 3rd and Final Review Starting my 2nd winter with this bag was short lived. The zipper prone problem finally did me in again. Even with extreme caution, I could not avoid another zipper malfunction. It jammed up really bad this time and the part that zips (technical term) broke apart like the last one. It's a real shame as I really like this bag, that's why I gave it a 2nd try after my 1st zipper self destructed. Final Review Bag 5 stars Zipper 1 Star I am lowering my review to 2 stars. This bag may be good for very little use and a little luck. But as a high use bag, I would not recommend this product. November 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Sleeping Bag Did The Trick! The sleeping bag we recently purchased from Dick's, was taken on an early November canoe trip. It was warm and fit perfectly, just needs to take a pillow next time. November 20, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5by Premature Zipper Failure leading to a very cold night Great bag EXCEPT the zipper failed on the third use, with no extraordinary abuse or misuse. Of course, a mummy bag with the zipper gapping open is useless - you get seriously hypothermic. Will take it back to my local Dick's store to see what can be done. October 5, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5by I wouldn't if I were you I bought this bag for my son for an upcoming hunting trip. it was sealed in a box. When I got it home and had him crawl in it we noticed that the top half of the bag had absolutely nothing in between the two layers of fabric. there is no possible way that bag would have kept someone warm at 30 degrees, let alone zero. I returned the bag and moved on. The only reason I didn't give it a bottom of the barrel review is because we didn't actually try it. I would not risk any amount of comfort in a zero degree environment just so my review might be slightly more accurate. September 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Great Sleeping Bag I purchased this sleeping bag to make sure I don't get too cold in the mountains, and it works great. Used it for 3 days up near Tarryall, Co and I didn't get cold at all. The clip that clamps down on the string for your head is lousy, so if you utilize that feature make sure you replace this clip with a heavy duty clip. The zipper is not a bad zipper, you just have to use common sense and be careful with it. I'm 6'6" and this bag is plenty big for me. I would recommend this sleeping bag if your a big guy like me.
