Rated 2.9 out of 5by 27 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5by Good and bad I love this bag very much, but it has one very bad feature that I encountered- broken zipper- within a few months. That is an imperative no-no. The bag is very warm and roomy. It's very comfortable. I am a female at 5"9 and 150 lbs, and I had a LOT of room. I wouldn't say it's good for -15. I have only tried it in the low thirties in NY, and I still need a comforter over it to protect from winds/drafts. The trouble with the zipper was first it grabbing on the cloth of the bag. It also had trouble easily riding up all the way. Eventually the tugging ripped it, and I need to have it replaced. November 21, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5by zipper broke My son used this sleeping bag twice for winter camp with the Boy Scouts and the zipper broke. I do believe this to be a defect in the production of this item from Field and Stream. Do NOT purchase this sleeping bag!!!! December 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Very Warm and Comfortable for Car Camping Camped overnight with temperatures in the low thirties. I was plenty warm without getting too hot. When packed up, this bag is pretty bulky. Not a negative, but I would not recommend it for back packing. November 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5by better off bringing a blanket. At least you can wrap up in a blanket. This product failed the first time it was used. Like so many other reviewers, the zip snagged and the smallest effort to dislodge it ended in breakage. I was left trying to wrap up in it, to limited success. I found myself wishing I had just brought a blanket. Going back to Coleman. December 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5by I use to like it I only got to use it three times. I noticed the second night I used it started to snag then the third night it broke. I didn't keep anything because I thought "oh I'm buying a really good sleeping bag I won't need to return it" boy was I wrong :-/ September 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by BEST Sleeping Bag This is a very well made sleeping bag crafted for very cold weather camping yet still spacious and comfortable. It is rated for minus 15 degrees...and I put it to the test at minus 10 degrees and I was not the least bit chilly. Excellent quality and great price. March 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5by Zipper Problems Bought this bag for my son who is a scout and camps out once a month. Needed a good sleeping bag for cold weather. The bag itself kept him warm, even on the coldest nights. However, the zipper is the real problem! The zipper was always hard to zip but the bag was so warm he made do. Then the zipper broke, we had it fixed beacuse he loved the bag...lasted maybe two more trips then broke again! Frustrated!! He loves the bag but it is useless without a good zipper!!! Rated 2 out of 5by not so good I return a O degree field and stream, because of a broken zipper.after just 2 campouts. dont much of a difference between the 0 degree bag and -15 degree which is what i replaced it with. I have only taking it camping once so far.next camping trip will be the true test. its in january October 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5by Epic Zipper Fail We go on at least one very cold campout each year. That's the only time this bag is used. On the third campout (fourth night it was actually used), the zipper failed. The zipper has always been tricky to pull up as it keeps catching on the shell. The lining is warm, but when the low-quality plastic zipper splits open it defeats the purpose. Especially with as tight as this bag fits. It was a cold night and now my purchase is worthless without a repair that probably will cost more than I paid for the bag. December 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5by Great product Bought this bag for my wife to use at our daughters soccer games. She says it keeps her nice and toasty in single digit weather!!! January 14, 2015
