Great Coat

Cute and comfortable
My husband bought this for me and I was shocked by the bright color! It's great for warmer winter days or early spring. Warm but still feels light, not a big, heavy winter coat. But still warm & cozy.

Good looking and warm
I needed a warm jacket for casual wear and athletic activities. This one fits the bill perfectly. I have the all black version. I love the elastic cuffs because I have shorter arms and it keeps the sleeve from going over my hand and it keeps wind from going up my sleeve. The outer material is durable and cleans up easily. I spilled some soup on it and immediately rinsed it under the faucet. It dried quickly and there was no residue or lingering smell. The neck zips up high, making it easy to tuck your mouth and even nose behind it, protecting you from the wind. The hood has elastic around the edge so it hugs your face when up and zipped, not he most attractive but very warm and it stays in place if running. It is really warm, and not heavy or bulky. I was actually surprised by how warm it kept me. The cut is nothing special, but it looks nice. The seaming makes the jacket look modern and different than the usual. It looks pretty cool. It takes up very little space if I do need to pack it, but I wouldn't consider it uber-packable because it doesn't stuff down into a coin purse. I like the zippered pockets, including 2 chest pockets (inner and outer). It has a place for all my essentials. Although I said the value is average, because at this price a garment should be excellent, I am glad I spent the money on Marmot because I know I will have this jacket for a long time and I'm confident it will last.

Perfect winter jacket
I have a North Face winter jacket and it's warm, but it makes me look like the abominable snowman. The Marmot jacket is just as warm, but smooth, and slim, and has a great hood. I think this jacket is for skiing but I wear it running, walking the dogs, and just when I'm out and want to be warm and look good!

Cool looking but expensive..
Loved the looks of it butnwasmquitemexpensive, found a basic black for about 30% of the price... Mmm that's the cost to bein fashion, I guess... But functionally very useful and keeps warm..
