Patagonia Women's Down With It Down Parka 3 3
a very nice coat This coat is warm without weight. I like the tailored fit February 10, 2014
Great Quality from Patagonia I am 5'10" with broad shoulders and long arms. I was soo happy when I discovered the generous arm length with the Patagonia brand. I have been on a down coat quest for about a month and have focused my search on TNF Metropolis, Marmot Montreaux and Patagonia.Fiona, Down With It Parka and Ultralight Fiona. While this is a lovely and lightweight coat, the XL was just too big on me. I am thinkig of getting in in an L but now the season is over and availability is scarce due to spring stock being in place. I wouldn't call this a slim fit but it does seem to have more shape than the TNF Metropolis and is better looking than the Marmot Montreaux (which is lovely but like wearing a sleeping bag--heavy). It is so comfortable. Note: I tried the Patagonia Fiona Parka (large was tight in shoulders) and the Patagonia Ultralight Fiona which are truly a slim fit and much lighter and more of a "packable" weight. I needed an XL in those for the shoulders. The Ultralight is the one I chose but may end up with the Down With It as my "warmer" winter coat. Down With It Parka comes to the knees and maybe a touch below which is good for warmth. April 5, 2013
