Rated 3 out of 5 by Red Gr8 shoe, won't last!
I've had two pair of these minimus shoes, this is now my third pair. I like the shoe, it comfortable and does what I need it to for the gym but they don't last. Both pairs the sole separated and the sides split on the pinky toe area. Expect 6 -8 months wear. I spend an hour in them 2-3 times a week at the gym.

It may have been useful for someone at Dick's to notice that one of the loops that holds the shoe lace was ripped. The shoe was un-useable. So I had to send my wife to the local Dick's to return it and buy one in-store (totally defeating the purpose of convenient on-line shopping). I love the shoe, but I did not love Dick's shopping experience.

I was shown this product by a friend who has had a pair before and he swears by them. They do take some getting used to if you are used to wearing a full running shoe like I was. Once you get used to them they feel great. I bought these to use on a 5k run that is off-road and I feel they will do great.

The product I order was too large when I tried it on. Returned the item on or around three days ago.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kevin44672 Best pair of shoes I've ever owned.... For a time.
Durability aside, the Minimus 20V2 is the best pair of shoes I've ever owned. It gives a great feel of the road, breathes easily, and are extremely lightweight. They made my normal trainers feel like moon-shoes. Sadly, after only 50 miles tears began to form in the toebox. If you're willing to spend top dollar for a shoe that feels great but won't last very long (think racing), then this pair is for you.

Rated 2 out of 5 by scotty feel great but fall apart
These feel great to run in but once you put in a few miles on them, they will tear on the outside edge, right next to one of the reinforced seams. Buy a newer version of the minimus and I don't think you will have this problem.
I have a pair of vibram five fingers that I have had for three years with no significant wear and tear. This is the first pair of New Balance shoes that have owned that have failed like this.

These shoes are very comfortable. Feet/calves got sore first time I used and wouldn't recommend a long distance, bc they are working muscles normal shoes don't. After u get used to I think they fill better than normal shoes. Curious to see how long the soles last...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mike Excellent! Puts me where my body and legs should be ! I can feel what they talk about when runners ran millions of years ago.
Running almost bare foot is a great treat! The shoe allows a runner to feel the ground using ALL the bones to function like they were originally designed to do. I'm surprised they have not atrophied over all these years of disuse.
