Extremely well balanced, great pop. I bought the 2012 bat, it was seriously the best $400 you can spend in the baseball industry. I let myself and two teammates use the bat and we all love it. Exceptional balance (best in business) and it hasn't lost a bit of pop in thousands of swings. Highly recommend this bat to any type of hitter. Only con i can think of is that the sweet spot is a little small when compared to the Xl1, but i don't really have any issues. April 24, 2013

Easton S1 Excellent service. Got the 33" model week before opening day for high schools. EVERYONE SOLD OUT. Got the bat in 3 days. Amazing.Bat is well balanced more for line drives and pitchers who throw really hard. My son is 16 and uses wood frequently and then when he moves to the Easton S1, he really can whip through on the inside pitches from with guys reaching 90 mph. DON'T USE WHEN IT IS COLD OUTSIDE! last year's model was better this bat is not as good as last years model. you can't feel the pop and the bat has way too much flex. thats the main problem, you can feel the bat bend in your hands when you hit with it. March 1, 2013
