Rated 1 out of 5 by Stacey Not up to EvoShield standards
My son is a 15 year old baseball player who wears many Evo products and we have been very pleased with the quality. Nthese batting gloves, however, did not meet the standards. They are $10-15 more than the next most expensive brand you carry (UA) but caused blisters instead of preventing them. Something about the way the padded areas are designed on the right gloved rubbed the top of my son's thumb on the left. Plus, after one use much of the surface of the padded area on the right glove was wearing off. I returned these to our store of purchase and went back to Under Armour.

I like the gloves; they wear well when I am hitting in the batting cage. I will know more when I am in a game situation soon. I do suggest a little more padding at the thumb area. My bat has always rubbed my lower thumb where the meaty part is on the hand. I usually have a blister at the end of every game. Hitting in batting practice with these gloves I have not had a blister or any rubbing, but would like a little more padding in this area for support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Justadad My son likes them, but they are overpriced.
He fell for it...The marketing department is earning their pay. They're just a standard set of gloves. Slightly more padding but not enough to justify the 50% mark up over other brands. He has only had them for a few weeks. Will update durability in a month or so. The shield is an interesting gimmick, but he says it's not uncomfortable so it seems to work.

My Son bought these gloves with his birthday money. I felt they were too expensive but it was his money and he really wanted them. The form fitting shield seemed to be a good plus to the gloves, but it falls out! What is the point of a $60 pair of gloves if the shield falls out all the time? They should have made a fabric lip or velcro to keep it in place. Not worth the money!

My son loved the feel of the gloves but the Velcro strip broke the first weekend. Not a very good design.

the glove felt great on hands for the first game or two but by the second week they had started to rip at the one month mark the hole in the glove has made the glove usless and is about 2 inches in diameter the quality is just not there I would skip over this glove until they fix there quality issue

Way overpriced. The left glove ripped during the first tournament they were used in. Had bought $30 batting gloves in the past that lasted half a season. Will never buy these again and recommend you don't either.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jake They need to work on this product
I've had these gloves since March and they were great until they started to rip. The gloves also have holes in them by the padding on my left hand.

by IZM EvoShield Batting Gloves
Bought some EvoShield batting gloves for my son and they are great. We like the fact that it protects his throwing hand from the pitcher. Being that he throws lefty and bats righty his throwing hand is exposed to the pitcher. He also has the wrist guard so we are confident that if he gets hit he will be okay. The compression sleeve is great as well. I will recommend EvoShield products to the parents on our little league teams.
