They do rip at the seem between band and tights.
They ripped on the second wear, like others have posted. If the quality was a bit better, these would nice tights. I regret ordering them, and should have listened to other reviews. Nike usually doesn't have such poor quality, but believe it for these tights. I was even especially careful with them to prevent tearing, and they still ripped.

Great Tights - Flawed Construction
Tights have great compression and are very warm; HOWEVER, the waistband seam connection to the body of the tights is not strong enough. My first pair split at this seam on first wearing. Dicks graciously took them back and I am now on my second pair which I am careful to pull on much like panyhose so as not to stress that seam.

Great
I own a drive-thru and stand out in my "wind tunnel" at very low temperatures and with the combination of these pants and coveralls I stay warm all day. They fit well enough to fit under my jeans also, unlike other thermals I have tried.

Very comfortable.
Love the tights. First pair we received had a large hole - inseam at band not sewn so we had to exchange. They fit really well and are super comfortable.

Super warm and comfy, ripped at the seam after one wash :)
Wore them running once and LOVED them in 19 degrees. Then I washed them, they ripped at the seam. I have them in three separate colors, only wore the other one's once. I exchanged the ripped pair- but we shall see.

Love the pants, but problems with seams
I bought one pair, ran in them one time, and then noticed when I took them off that the elastic had separated at the seam. I exchanged them for another pair. I've worn them twice now and have not had any problems.
I received another pair for Christmas, wore them once and noticed the elastic had separated along the seam again.
The pants are super comfortable to run in, and they keep you warm as long as it is not below 30 degrees out. I am going to exchange the last pair and hope I don't have any problems. If so, I probably won't get another pair.

the same thing happened to me
i bought a pair of the grey ones and was in love with them. i bought them on christmas eve and on christmas day they ripped all along the seam of the band:(. so i have to return them but i don't know if i should get another pair or not.

Fabulous Pants
Pants are amazing. Daughter loves Nike running pants. Great fit/comfort, high style. Rated value average - because I was prepared to use Dick's Sptg Goods Coupon for my rather large dollar amount purchase... The coupons are useless, as they excluded EVERYTHING I bought (large variety, multiple transactions). So, Dicks, great product, but Shame on you for luring me in with coupons that exclude everything!

I ordered these in black and I LOVE them! They fit great and are very warm and comfy. They go great with the hyperwarm tops.

Don't bother
I was initially excited and liked the wide waist band, the soft lining and the fact that my riding breeches would slide on nicely over them, but the seam along the waist band ripped and I returned them thinking that that pair was defective. However, the second (and last) pair that I purchased had the same thing happen before I even had them on. Very poor construction. Won't be buying another pair.
