Good winter shoe I bought these to wear around in the winter. Being waterproof was important, since I wanted to be able to wear them out, even if there was snow on the ground. So far, it has worked fine, since I have worn them several times after it snowed. They seem to run a little tight in the toe width, but the next size up would be too long for me, and I would walk out of them. I have the same size in the "summer" version of the Merrell shoe and they are wider, and fit good. I like the color a lot since it goes great with jeans and what I wear them with. December 19, 2012
Most comfortable shoe I own! It was time for another one of our family trips which involves a lot of walking. Over the years, I have purchased various well know walking and hiking shoes, but my feet always ended up hurting during our trip. Prior to our most recent jaunt, it was suggested by my sister-in-law, whose husband is a Podiatrist, to try these Merrell's which I did. They were by far the most comfortable shoe I tried on and have proved to be the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I did have to go up half a size for the perfect fit (I have wide feet), and found them to be comfortable right out of the box. Although they may be a little more expensive than some of the other well known brands out there, I have no regrets. November 18, 2012
