Actually, this scope was not purchased for a shot gun, but for a Ruger 10/22. It was inexpensive and serves the perfect sighting requirement for a .22 cal. rifle. With a 4X magnification,it provides a crisp, clear image at a very reasonable price. It is nicely made, waterproof, and shock resistant. More than pleased with the purchase.

Scope looked good enough to try. At first it would not hold a zero at all. Turns out the front cap and the rear cap both loosened up while shooting and the cross hairs would move without me knowing it. Once I figured this out, I put on the lock tight and tightened everything down and it seems to be OK now. Of course after my first impressions of the scope I am a little worried it may fall apart. Probably would save my money next time until I had enough to buy a Nikon or Redfield. Will need some more time at the range before I feel confident in this scope.

I bought this cheaper scope to put in a lower end mossberg pump action slug gun for deer hunting this year. The scope would slide along the mounting rings after every shot. After some small applications of silicone it is not moving at all. Scope is clear and NOW stays on Zero. Like I said I knew what I was buying, but I wish I didn't have to do any at home fixes to it.
