Mixed Review I really liked this scope and wanted it to be awesome, however, it was not holding a zero and then I found that pretty much all of the screws on the rings were backing out. When I tried to tighten the rings fully they broke. The back glass also came loose at some point from the recoil. The scope base was a solid Remington base on my 1187 and I was using Federal Truball and Remington Sluggers so the recoil wasn't really that harsh, yet it broke. Had the rings been better and held the scope properly and held to the base properly the eye piece might have never gotten loose, but the fact is they didn't and it did. I have installed multiple scopes on multiple rifles and never had problems like I did with this one. I probably would not reccomend this for a shotgun. If you want to chance it and save a few bucks as opposed to paying way more for a different scope I would certainly invest in some better bases from a reputable company. I hate that it broke because I liked it ergonomics of it but you win some and you lose some. December 13, 2014
Broke on first shot Rear mount broke and parts went flying on first shot firing 12GA Sabots :( It was free when I bought the shotgun combo so I guess I got what I paid for...... November 20, 2014
Good from the start I opened it yesterday, and tried it today. It was easy to install, and easy to zero. I mounted it to my Mossberg 500 and I am satisfied so far. Not bad for a first scope. After hunting season I might post an updated opinion. October 5, 2014
The Scope Actually, this scope was not purchased for a shot gun, but for a Ruger 10/22. It was inexpensive and serves the perfect sighting requirement for a .22 cal. rifle. With a 4X magnification,it provides a crisp, clear image at a very reasonable price. It is nicely made, waterproof, and shock resistant. More than pleased with the purchase. October 2, 2013
Cheap scope Scope looked good enough to try. At first it would not hold a zero at all. Turns out the front cap and the rear cap both loosened up while shooting and the cross hairs would move without me knowing it. Once I figured this out, I put on the lock tight and tightened everything down and it seems to be OK now. Of course after my first impressions of the scope I am a little worried it may fall apart. Probably would save my money next time until I had enough to buy a Nikon or Redfield. Will need some more time at the range before I feel confident in this scope. September 30, 2013
Shotgun Scope is missing some paint on inside shot deer slugs 15 rounds scope did not lose grouping And it did not come loose June 17, 2013
Knew what I was getting myself into I bought this cheaper scope to put in a lower end mossberg pump action slug gun for deer hunting this year. The scope would slide along the mounting rings after every shot. After some small applications of silicone it is not moving at all. Scope is clear and NOW stays on Zero. Like I said I knew what I was buying, but I wish I didn't have to do any at home fixes to it. November 19, 2012
great product. Clear optics, simple adjustment for sighting; all around great budget priced scope. October 16, 2012
