Rated 5 out of 5 by gizm0san great for all exercise activities I felt that its been 3 months of use, time to give a review! I bought 1 pair locally, and then 2 more online & on-sale, and i have to say they have been super comfortable. They are a little shorter than 5" i'd say more like 4.4 ish, however they comfortable mountain biking, spin cycling, weight training and running. I prefer the cut above the knee, its more freedom of movement. They are a little shorter than 5" as I mentioned, so if you are shy of that length, these shorts won't be for you. They fit really well, having gone from XL to a Large. The key pocket in the back is deeper than most shorts, enough for keys, credit cards, etc. They dry very quickly from sweating, especially in Texas!. I'm really happy with my purchases! Rated 4 out of 5 by Lou88 Good fit and comfortable. To begin with I am not into running shorts that go below the knee, which seem to be the majority. The 5" rides comfortably above the knee making long runs in the summer a breeze. Material and fit are very good. Can not comment on durability since I have only had these for a few weeks. Color choices are plenty. August 26, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by SChucky Great short for pursuing the goal I have worn these shorts several times and the term that comes to mind is "comfort." They provide support, and keep you comfortable during the process. They are light-weight and don't give you that "sticky" feeling while you are jogging. May 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Jkmc71 Great shorts These shorts fit true to size. They have held up well during my runs, typically 5-7 miles. Very comfortable and dry quickly if it happens to rain on you. Could be worn anytime. Highly recommended! May 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dannnnnnnnny Attractive running shorts. These are attractive running shorts, but I would have bought a size up, had I seen them in the store instead of online. Note that they are 5 inches, so they might be too small for most people, Unless I get incredibly in shape, I'll probably just wear them inside my own home when I lift or jump rope. March 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by drlewis good all around light weight running short Shorts fit well, feel great. Just wish they had a zipper pocket instead of hook-loop closure to better insure items aren't lost. January 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trevor I needed running shorts and this was the best Dick's had. In preparation for a marathon, I needed (or was it that I wanted?) a pair of running shorts with a high cut. You know, the shorts that are slit almost to the waistband? In a big wind you may reveal more than you planned on. Yeah, those shorts. Dicks had a ton of active lifestyle shorts. I just learned the marketing term "active lifestyle" to describe clothing. It means you want to look sporty even if you don't actually intend to use your new clothes to participate in an aerobic activity. In contrast, "performance wear" are the clothes you will wear while you do your sport, whatever sport that is. Of the many men's shorts in the running section at my local Dicks's that were marketed as running shorts the pair I bought was the only garment I could see myself running in. All the rest were for use when sauntering around the mall or to wear while channel surfing. Or meditating. Meditation shorts? I like it! Back to the review. (I digress.) I love my new shorts. They were comically expensive, but what are you going to do? Find a locally owned running store with actual choice? Come on! I wore my new shorts in that marathon I mentioned above (remember that marathon?) and they held up marvelously. I'd suggest these to anyone wanting to toss away $37 on shorts for sports.
