Great Shoes!
I have a very difficult foot to fit and most shoes do not provide the support I need for long term use. This shoe is comfortable,stylish and provides great support. Highly recommended.

Comfortable out of the box shoe
Since I have arch issues with my feet I needed a specific type of athletic shoe and desired a shoe for walking, running and weight training and also casual use away from work. I am a former New Balance 595 wearer which, sadly, are impossible to find anymore. The NB's were the type of shoe that required no break-in and felt perfect to wear right out of the box. The ASICS GT-1000 shoe has filled that void for me. I like the styling, overall comfort and most important of all the near perfect arch support. As soon as I tried them on I knew I needed to look no further. The Dick's sales associate at the West County Center location was very nice and helpful in addition to being knowledgeable about athletic shoes, a not so common feature these days.

Great shoe
I've been a GT-2100 series user for years and only tried the GT-1000 to avoid paying $114 for the new GT-2000s. I've used the GT-1100 series a few times to save money but they were definitely inferior to the GT-2100 series. Well, whatever improvements Asics made to the GT-1000 series worked because they are fantastic - definitely rival the former GT-2100 series. Excellent, comfortable shoe for a 215 lb runner who puts in a lot of miles!

Great price for a great running shoe
I started running with a cheap pair of cross trainer/ walking shoes and had lots of foot pain. I have run several miles now with the ASics and no pain.

Great running shoe
I purchased these shoes to use on the treadmill at the gym. I have wide feet and these are comfortable and reasonably priced. I would definitely consider buying again.
