Good support, more flexible and lightweight than expected Needed more support from my running shoe to prevent feet from forming blisters on inside (ball of foot rubbed against instep of shoe). Last time I bought a running shoe showing this level of support, I ended up with knee pain (my weight falls primarily on my heels). When I switched to a lighter, more flexible shoe, the knee pain went away but I ended up with the blisters. I was skeptical about this shoe because it's pretty hefty - very thick-looking sole, especially the heel. But the return policy allowed me to give it a try outdoors so I decided to try the shoe. I've been running (3-6 miles, outdoors, pavement/dirt) regularly for two months since buying these shoes. No knee pain, blisters are healing/not reforming; shoe provides excellent support. (Male, 25, 6'1, ~175lbs) Also, the neon orange color is great! May 8, 2013
Great Running Shoe I'm on my third pair of GT 2000 running shoes and ready to order a back-up pair. No break in time required, great support for aging knees and ankles. They seem to last longer than other running shoes I've had in the past. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. May 2, 2013
No more agony of da feet This shoe, from the cushioned yet stabilizing midsole to the medial post, provides comfort with impact at every step. With intrinsic forefoot and arch control very close to what one would expect from a good functional sport orthotic, the smoothness of each step is heavenly. Still a very good shoe This is the third pair of GT-2000's I've owned. I found the fit to be very comfortable. Excellent shoe for long distance training providing more than adequate cushioning for someone who has a hard heel strike (which I do). One of my four favorite styles / series from Asics. Recommend Very comfortable shoe for the over-pronator foot and average jogger (about 16-20 miles a week ). Affordable- middle of the road pricing compared to all the other good shoes out there. ready to run right out of the box too no brake in time.
