just like the womb
when purchasing my bag I was hesitant to spend $80.00 on it because there were so many cheaper alternatives. The reason I pulled the trigger is, I knew there were some cold nights ahead and we couldn't cancel our prepaid camping trip coming up.
I must confess that this bag paid for itself on the first night I used it. there's nothing worse than being in the wilderness far away from any amenities and freezing. (you give up all hope very quickly and rush for the nearest hotel.......more $, more $, more $ !!! Not to mention a huge waste of time. That being said, it got down to about 32-35 degrees every night we were out and I was so warm I actually had to unzip just to let some cold air in.
best $80.00 I ever spent.......ever. well worth the money.
material is solid, the stitching is tight and so sooooooooooooooooo warm !!!

Nice product but a few "heads ups".
I bought three of these bags to camp with my family. They came very quickly but when I opened the bags I noticed that they were light grey not dark like the picture. Also one of the bags were bunched up in the compression sack. When I tried to shift it the top seam of the sack, tore at the seam. I have a handy girl so she restitched it and made a second stitch all the way around the factory seam to form a double stitch. I recommend doing so too. As for the bag, it is very warm and seams very sturdy in itself. All in all, aside from the minor flaw, a great bag.

Great bag!
I thought this was a great mummy bag. I have only used it for two nights but it worked great. The price seemed a little expensive. And it wasn't the easiest to roll up but that will get easier the more I use it.

Does the job
I was looking for a lower temperature rated bag since my normal backpacking one is not well suited for temperature drops below freezing. For the few times a year that I need a bag for lower temperatures, this fits the bill in both price and function. My only drawback with the design was both the upper (hood) and lower (neck) drawstrings sinched with the same stop. This made it difficult to independently adjust them. I plan to add another stop to seperate them. Used the bag last weekend in the mid 20's and was plenty warm. It's a bit bulky and heavy so I would not consider using it for backpacking, but for car camping or short hikes to camp its fine.

Very warm
I got this bag to replace the field and stream mummy bag. This bag is much better. I have camped in 19 degree weather and I was completely warm all night. It is very lofty, almost like being surrounded by pillows. It does not come unzipped throughout the night, which is great. I am very happy with this bag.

Very Warm
they are very good sleeping bags, soft and warm but definately always use a mat under your sleeping bag for extra cushion.
