Rated 5 out of 5áby Great plates for the price. I have several of these and they are great, excellent product! March 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Excellent price plates These plates are exactly what you think. Inexpensive rubber bumper plates that you can drop without ruining the plate or the floor. They are the basic of plates. SImple collar pressed into a simple rubber mold. The plates have very little bounce. Addressing some concerns: 1) these are not built for abuse. If you're going to throw these to the floor during CF WODs of 500 thrusters at 65 lbs, you're going to wear out these plates pretty fast. 10's are thin and the collars are small. There are very few 10 lbs rubber bumper plates built for that and they're usually $100 EACH. 2) they're loose spec'd. they don't spend a lot of time during manufacturing to check tolerances. these plates will probably be loose on most bars. Not enough to matter especially if you're using proper locking collars (which you should be.) 3) I have multiple sets of multiple weights for this make of Rage plate. THEY SMELL TERRIBLE. Especially the boxes. As soon as you get them, throw out the boxes and leave the plates outside for a couple of days. Let them gas off and air out. It didn't take long to make them tolerable. If you're looking to build a CF style home gym, you can't beat the price on these plates. They ARE durable but you're still going to want to be sensible with how you treat them (the 10's). Rated 4 out of 5áby product works well Fit the bill as described, seem to be well constructed. January 12, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great product Great product because they're official Olympic size, (17, 3/4") yet light enough to do workouts without having to use a 45lb Olympic plate. I need a lot of work on my technique for deadlifts and these fit the bill. One thing I would mention is that some people say you can't drop with these plates because they're flimsy. Rule of thumb ~ you should not drop unless the plates weigh more than the bar. So, to drop with a 45lb barbell, you need at least 25lb plates on each side. Stay safe! June 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Be Skeptical of negative reviews If you have ever spent any time in a gym or a box, you will know that that YOU SHOULD NEVER drop a loaded mens bar with only 10lb plates on them, they will bend and break. I have seen it will all kinds of bumpers including the Rogue Plates. You have to have a little common sense and know that if you are only using the 10lb plates that when you come down with the bar from a Clean or Over Head movement that you can't just drop it. The Rage bumpers are actually strong then others in the market at the 10-15 size and would buy them over any other brand. May 1, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5áby Bumper plates are supposed to bounce not bend! Never ever ever drop these plates from overhead or on your shoulders even if you have 2 of them on each side of the bar. They bend WAY to easily and are not Olympic weightlifting quality or good for crossfit. Overall these are not good bumpers and if would definatly recommend hi-temp bumpers because they are thicker and don't bend like these plates. April 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Rage 10lb rubber bumper plates this is a great, economical way to have a gym in your home. protects flooring and is very durable April 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby awesome Love these plates. Would recommend to anyone that likes to lift. February 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby So far so good! The 10lb weight is a great starting point for some of the Olympic lifts that I'm not quite strong enough to throw heavy weight on. I can practice the movement while I work on building strength. Love them! They seem durable and appropriate for the gym setting I'm in. January 15, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5áby Good enough The bounce is not great on these 10lb plates but I didn't expect it to be. The bounce is good enough and keeps the bar at the right height when doing lower weights. Works as expected for a value plate. January 2, 2015
