Barnes Expander MZ .50 Cal/250 Gr. Bullets - 14 Pack 5 5 1 1
Excellent bullet!! I shoot 100gr pyrodex powder, out of a CVA optima. The barrel is tight which can make loading these very hard if the barrel is dirty. However, the accuracy is phenomenal! The round retains most if not all of its weight and that makes for great knockdown power. I've never had to track an animal with these, they always drop or parish within sight. I have only received one pass through which was at 65 yards the other 4 deer dropped but where 80-120 yards away. The pass through had bunches of blood but it only went 15 yards and dropped. I would recommend this bullet for ohio sized deer every time I was asked. If you have a smaller bore I might suggest the spitfire ez rounds but for large bore this is my round of choice!
