Customer Reviews:

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Barnes Expander MZ 250 shoots well in my old Knight T-bolt Barnes muzzle loader bullets have shot well out of my Knight T-bolt. They have been accurate for my distances: 50 - 100 yds. (I have had poor results with other popular brands) I have recently switch from the 50 cal 245 gr Barnes Spitfire to the 50 cal 250 gr Barnes expander MZ. They patterned identically from my Knight T-bolt. I am using 100 gr triple 7 pellets w/ Rem Kleenbore 209 primers. This load combo works very well in my Knight T-bolt. I believe that Barnes makes the "Red Hots" bullets for Knight under the Red Hot brand name. So Barnes is my choice for Knight MZ rifles. I have taken several deer w/ the Spitfire 245 but wanted more expansion. So, I wanted to try the 50 cal 250 gr Barnes expander MZ. No change to the scope was required at the range as they both had the same point of impact. I am pleased with the range performance of the 50 cal 250 gr Barnes expander MZ. Now I will have to wait for deer season to evaluate game performance. Overall, I am pleased with the Barnes muzzle loader bullets. A quality, high performance muzzle loading projectile. July 15, 2014
