A great pair of footwear.
I went to the local store to purchase me a pair pf hiking boots. I had attempted to purchase a pair of Timberland boots at some of the outlet's, but they never seemed to fit right(too small..too tight....too thin,etc), so I wouldn't purchase any of them. I knew that Timberland had a good reputation, so I checked in the local store and found a pair that I liked, and I bought them. They fit great, they were light weight, and they did not make my feet hurt, even after wearing them all day. Well....after doing some painting work that I needed to do, I got paint on them, and decided to go back to the store to get me a "dress" pair. Since there were no more of the model that I bought before at the store, I ordered me another pair. They were shipped to me in a timely manner, and I'm extremely pleased with these boots.

Good...but...
Good boot. Light and comfortable as many other reviewers have mentioned. But my feet seem to sweat a lot in them. My last pair of hiking boots were Gore-Tex, and I now think that really makes a difference. I'll continue with these boots for as long as they last, but my next boots will have to be more breathable - like Gore-Tex.

Excellent Hiking Boots
These boots are all that. I have hiked throughout the fall and winter in these boots and have been completely satisfied. They are waterproof and lightweight. I walk an average of 6 miles a day and while wearing these boots I have had no problems with my feet. I was very fortunate to have found these boots when I did because they have allowed me to weather the elements no matter what the temp. I just ordered my second pair and plan on using my scorecard points to buy the third. These boots also look good with Khakis and Jeans.

Great all-around hiking boot
I have a hard time finding just the right boot that meets all of my requirements. I need something durable yet lightweight, water-resistant yet breathable, and most importantly- a boot that gets the job done without turning my feet into hamburger on long-duration hikes.
The Timberland Mt. Maddsen fits the bill, and then some. I searched and searched for the perfect boot, and Timberland delivered. In fact, after a couple of months owning a pair, I went out and bought a second set for when the first one wears out. (Not that that's likely to happen any time soon).
For someone who can be picky about quality footwear, I couldn't be more thrilled with my Timberlands.

best ever
You can believe everything they say about this boot. I have had mine for 1 year and have worn them almost everyday working in a campground. They are just as comfortable now as they were the first day I put them on. They wear very well and are absolutely water proof. I will buy another pair soon just in case they discontinue them. This pair should last at least 2 more years. They run true to size

BEST HIKER'S/WALKERS I'VE EVER HAD
BESIDES GIVING EXCELLENT SUPPORT, THEY ARE FEATHER WIEGHT, COMFORTABLE AND I CAN WEAR THEM ALL DAY AROUND OUR TREE FARM. I AM DIABETIC SO THEY REALLY HELP---.

Great Hiking Boots
I purchased these boots for my husband. He wears boots 8 to 16 hours per day for his job. He says that they are very comfortable and well made. They have good support and they are waterproof. The price was very reasonable.
