Great Hiking Boot I bought these boots for hiking and I have to say they are probably the best hiking boots I have every had and I have been hiking for over 30 years. It's too bad that Timberland really does not advertise these as hikers but I think they realize it because they make them with out the steal toe which only add weight for hiking.. I have tested them on all kind of surfaces for hiking and they grip like spiderman even on wet slippery rocks they hold pretty good, loose rocky inclines and declines they hold excellent and for comfort they are excellent with a supperfeet insole under the original insole that they come with. They come in all sizes and even wide which is hard to find in a hiking boot and makes for extra room for the toes. All in All this boot is an excellent hiking boot even if Timberland does not know it. LOL May 18, 2013
