Solid build I needed to mount a sling on my Remington 7600 with a composite stock which didn't come with swivels. This worked well by drilling holes in the stock and screwing them in. February 21, 2013
Great swivel stud all the way around! I purchased these swivel studs to install on a synthetic stock. Yes I know these are for wood stocks, but upon research gathered on the web, I decided that doing the machine thread for the front really made no sense. I mean, why would a wood thread be OK to go into the rear but a machine thread for the top? I drilled pilot holes into my synthetic stock that were just big enough to get the thead started. I then screwed them in and they are holding up just fine. I'm very pleased with the end result. So far, so good! Install took a total of 10 minutes. February 20, 2013
