Nike Shield Soccer Shin Guards - Black/Volt
Because NOCSAE rules keep changing the shin guard people will stay in business.
Bought a pair last year because I had cut off the tag with the NOCSAE, then this year the tag is not good enough now it has to be stamped on the shin guard. Thank goodness Dick's has good pics and good reviews. My son is happy with these and hopes no more changes and he can use them for his two remaining years in highschool. Very happy!

Not bad, for the price
These pads were pretty good. They have a cloth backing with a little bit of ventilation and a well padded ankle brace. It's good quality foam in the brace and not plastic. The pads are comfortable. The one thing I didn't like about them was that the velcro on top felt cheap, like those velcro straps you wear for say, reflective armbands and stuff, rather than the velcro being on a piece of solid piece of nylon, so I'm hoping this won't be an issue. Also the strap was a little tight for a medium. I find Nike mediums are usually my size and large are too big. Small is just way too tight.
Between this pair and the newer protegga shields, I'd say they proteggas are better but this one does the job and is about $5-6 cheaper.
