GREAT idea, TERRIBLE QUALITY !! These dartboards were a ton of fun for the 30 minutes they worked. I fore-went the cheaper electronic boards, thinking quality would compliment the $129.99 price tag...That was a mistake!! If the boards components and its workmanship were not so sub-par this would be the perfect family dartboard. it feels very toy-like and cheap compared to an arachnid/viper/halex. I chose this because of the lighted pie segments that would help some stubborn beginners in the family to learn easier. Not the case...We went through two in one weekend. The FIRST one would not correctly display player one's score in the lower left hand cricket scoring display. The second one begin scoring segments wrong and then stopped scoring segments all together...it was some kind of electrical problem. Nonetheless, when you're having fun the last thing you want to do is stop and return something that SHOULD work the properly the first time. Now the problem is that everyone wants to play on a backlit dartboard, but the choices are VERY limited as this is the top of the line from what I've found...which unfortunately is more like bottom of the barrel.
