Rated 5 out of 5áby My 9 year old boy LOVES it!!! This is a true 11.5 vs some other gloves out there that are smaller. PowerClose technology was very helpful in breakin period. Few whacks with a mallet and some conditioning and he was good to go. May 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great glove My son is 7 and it a short time for him to be comfortable with it. Great glove May 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Overall a really good glove Bought this glove for my 7 year old who moved up to coach pitch this year. Overall it's a really good glove, quality seems to be good for a $55 glove. Easy to break in and he loves it. His catching has really improved over his small tee ball glove. I would recommend this glove to any kid ages 6 thru 10. May 7, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5áby Pinky finger trouble fitting I bought this glove for my 8 yr old son about a year ago and it's a solid little glove but for some reason he has trouble getting his pinky finger into the proper slot. He says it's too far to stretch his finger into it and it hurts. I had the guys at a baseball only store check it out and they too said it stretched their pinky fingers out trying to get it into the correct slot. Is anyone else having this issue? My son just learned to put his last two fingers into the second to last slot. He's a decent sized athletic boy for 8 whose hands I would imagine are just as big as most of the other 8 yr olds which is why I'm wondering if the glove we got is defective maybe. Thanks. Rated 5 out of 5áby My son loved this glove I have a 9 year old son, who plays rec baseball along and is on a baseball traveling league. He is left handed, so it is extremely hard to find gloves for him or there are usually not many to pick from. We ordered six different gloves from Dicks on-line to try them on and as soon as he put the Mizuno on, he fell in love. It was soft, easy to squeeze and bonus was that week, Dicks was offering free steaming on gloves. It probably didn't need the steaming since it was already easy to squeeze. I also have a Mizuno, which I played softball with, and 20 years later, it is still in great shape. Would highly recommend this. Some of the other gloves we got were so stiff. March 14, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5áby Not what we had hoped for. My 11 year old is a lefty and finding a good glove has been really hard. We bought this out of desperation as even when we could find a higher end lefty youth glove on-line, they were our of stock. This one closes really well and is soft, but I can't imagine getting more than one season out of it. August 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Very good glove; great value Bought this glove on a moment's notice as my 11-year son old 'misplaced' his right before the start of the season; it's his second Mizuno, both were Prospect Series. It needed zero break-in and fit him well; he's about 5' tall and playing at the AAA level. In his second game he caught two fly-balls and made a tag at second; what more could I ask of a glove - and for about $50...? Can't beat it. April 28, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5áby Horrible glove I bought two of these, an 11" and 11.5" for my two sons, 7 and 9. Both of these gloves don't close properly. On both of my sons when they try to close their hand, only the palm closes and the glove doesn't' come around with it. This causes them not to be able to catch a ball. We thought it was them since this was their first season, but we had a teammate who had been playing several years try it out and he didn't like it either. Horrible gloves overall. April 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby This product is very nice and well made Very nice well made glove for my 7 year old going to use for his first year of coach pich baseball March 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5áby Easy to brake in It didn't take more than two days of playing catch with my son to brake in his glove. January 21, 2015
