Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 118 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by A little floppy after a year I bought this glove in August 2015 for my son. Based on some other reviews and my own observations the laces weren't very durable. So I re-laced it all with heavy duty red laces from Rawlings. It gave it a nice look and made it more durable. I made the mistake of having it steamed and broken in at Dicks when I bought it. Don't bother. These gloves are soft enough that they will be broken in with normal usage. In doing so I suspect I may have actually shortened the life of the glove. Even still, the glove is now a bit too flexible. My son misses more catches now that I suspect he wouldn't have with a glove that was not worn out. I will retire this glove after Fall ball 2016 and get him something else for Spring 2017. The glove will have lasted through 1 Spring/Summer season and 2 Fall ball seasons. Maybe for youth gloves that is par for the course. It's a decent value for the glove and the initial quality was ok excluding the laces. I would hope for more durability but this is probably why there are more expensive gloves available. October 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice glove Bought this for my 9 year old. He absolutely loves it. September 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I would rather have this glove over a $300 glove. I was looking for a new glove after growing out of my old one. I tried this on and it felt like an extention to my arm as a glove should be. It is very soft and was broken in as soon as I got it, I just needed to build the pocket. It is extremely easy to close on the ball and it feels great. Ground balls I can grab easily without a problem. The only problem I have is that it is ripping. I have only had this for one season and it has two small rips. It's not that big of a problem though because this has been thrown around alot and I think any glove would do the same if thrown around alot. I will still give this a five star rating. I want to keep this my whole "career" in baseball. July 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Glove My almost 8 year old son's previous glove broke apart 1-week prior to his end of the season little league tournament. This new glove arrived a few days before the tournament started and he loved it immediately. He felt like it was broken in already. He's a lefty and there were very few options out there. This is a great glove for him for the next year or two before he gets into the more specialized gloves. A great all-around glove for this stage of his baseball. June 13, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this glove Bought this for my 9 year old son, this is a quality glove that he will be able to use for a long time . June 1, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by My 9 year old boy LOVES it!!! This is a true 11.5 vs some other gloves out there that are smaller. PowerClose technology was very helpful in breakin period. Few whacks with a mallet and some conditioning and he was good to go. May 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great glove My son is 7 and it a short time for him to be comfortable with it. Great glove May 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall a really good glove Bought this glove for my 7 year old who moved up to coach pitch this year. Overall it's a really good glove, quality seems to be good for a $55 glove. Easy to break in and he loves it. His catching has really improved over his small tee ball glove. I would recommend this glove to any kid ages 6 thru 10. May 7, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pinky finger trouble fitting I bought this glove for my 8 yr old son about a year ago and it's a solid little glove but for some reason he has trouble getting his pinky finger into the proper slot. He says it's too far to stretch his finger into it and it hurts. I had the guys at a baseball only store check it out and they too said it stretched their pinky fingers out trying to get it into the correct slot. Is anyone else having this issue? My son just learned to put his last two fingers into the second to last slot. He's a decent sized athletic boy for 8 whose hands I would imagine are just as big as most of the other 8 yr olds which is why I'm wondering if the glove we got is defective maybe. Thanks. Rated 5 out of 5 by My son loved this glove I have a 9 year old son, who plays rec baseball along and is on a baseball traveling league. He is left handed, so it is extremely hard to find gloves for him or there are usually not many to pick from. We ordered six different gloves from Dicks on-line to try them on and as soon as he put the Mizuno on, he fell in love. It was soft, easy to squeeze and bonus was that week, Dicks was offering free steaming on gloves. It probably didn't need the steaming since it was already easy to squeeze. I also have a Mizuno, which I played softball with, and 20 years later, it is still in great shape. Would highly recommend this. Some of the other gloves we got were so stiff. March 14, 2016
