Nokona 12.75" Classic Walnut Series Glove 5 5 4 4
American Quality I've owned several gloves in my life; previously Rawlings and Wilsons; and I can confidently say I'll never buy another brand again. Given the quality of my Nokona, I may not have to buy another glove in my life again. Nokona gloves are sturdy and built with quality craftsmanship. It took me a few weeks to break in for game use, and it's still not where I want I want it to be, but I can already tell it's the best glove I've ever owned. Forgo the Dicks' Glove Steaming and take the time and effort of breaking it in with a conditioner a ball and some elbow grease; it's worth it. I used the Nokona Classic Glove Conditioner, but have used Hot Glove Cream Conditioner in the past with pretty much the same effect. July 3, 2014
An excellent investment I have started to view my baseball gear like I do many other things: as an investment. You get what you pay for and in my opinion, the Nokona name carries a lot of quality worth paying for. I'm playing outfield for the first time in a long time, and I needed a new glove. I had a 12" Rawlings Sandlot that was great for recreational catch and playing around with a rebounder, but it just wasn't going to cut it for real play. I looked at a lot of different gloves before settling on this one. I was initially attracted to the vintage look of the glove, but then I started doing some research on the options I had in this price range. Being made domestically helped as well, as the craftsmanship/artisanship that went into this glove are very obvious. I've had the glove for about three weeks and it's still not quite broken in to my taste, as I've been busy with work, but it's almost there. The pocket is forming very nicely and the leather has taken on an almost custom feel with how it's forming to my hand. I had to adjust the wrist strap as I have small wrists, but it was an easy thing to do. I would recommend forgoing the Dick's steam treatment and getting the Nokona glove conditioner that they sell and doing the glove yourself the old-fashion way. The steaming was a little bit of a jump on the break-in, but wasn't quite worth it, even with being complimentary at this price point. The performance of the glove is excellent thus far. I've had good results and the way that it looks, this glove is going to be my weapon of choice for years to come. In fact, I liked this glove so much, that I went ahead and purchased an infield glove to replace my Rawlings. October 22, 2013
wow...what a glove!!! ive purchased a few mitts within the last 5 years.all of them top end good name brand gloves but not american made.they have all broken in nice but after a couple of seasons the leather just cant hold up and they become too floppy. This nokona with the hhh walnut leather is just amazing. it broke in superfast and i did a lot less with it than with my other gloves. after a full baseball season the leather held up like it was never used. such a good glove im using it in sofball too haha May 26, 2013
The last glove I'll need to buy! I bought this American made glove this spring and I am so happy that I did. The quality is amazing and I don't expect I'll have to buy another glove for the rest of my life (I'm turning 36 this year). May 22, 2013
