Easton Quantum Youth Bat 2013 (-12) 4.4 5 34 34
Lasted 9 months I gave this to my son for his 8th birthday. He used it for spring ball in games only and had no issues. 1st at bat of the 3rd game of fall ball, the bat broke off just above the hands on a soft line back the the pitcher. I had filled out and returned the warranty card at time of purchase so I contacted Easton, they said they haven't made Quantums in many years and No original receipt no warranty. So, not a very durable bat and no point in filling out the "warranty card" and returning it to Easton at time of purchase unless you want to receive marketing literature. September 29, 2014
good bat This bat treated me very well, I ripped balls a long way over the fence, and thought that this bat would last my allstar season, but it broke so I used another Easton bat. Great pop, when you hit the ball on the sweet spot, the ball will fly. September 12, 2014
great bat I picked this bat up half off, due to being last years model, it is a much better bat than buying a hundred dollar new bat of this year. My six year old is a big kid, tall i mean, well over 4 foot. so i got him the 29 in, but still only weighs one pound which is perfect for a young kid to be able to get any bat around fast enough with consistency to hit the ball every time. Great bat, great pop. hopefully still has enough pop for my other son to use next year and maybe the year after that. I only use for game days not practice. We have a bat of same -12 ratio for that. GREAT value At 50% off, how could you go wrong? My son is hitting laser shots. And when he gets jammed it doesn't sting his hands like his full composite. If nothing more it was a huge confidence booster! February 20, 2014
Great Bat for Pitching Machine Our 6 year old son plays up and plays pitching machine - he loves the pop of this bat and is hitting ball far into the outfield! Dad loves the bat too! February 19, 2014
Just what he needed I got this bat for 6 yr old t-ball season with the foresight that he can get use to it for a few yrs as he moves up to coach pitch. This yr he is smacking the ball into the outfield. I didn't know if maybe its just because he has got bigger and better at the game or if the bat has added to it eithet way so far so good! Good Bat No Durability The bat performs very well until the CXN Connection breaks. If you plan to play little league practice 1-2 times per week maybe play 2 games a week for a 10-13 week season its good bat. However if you want to hit 100 Balls a day 6 days a week 25-30 weeks, it will not last. My son has had 4 of these, one of them is a warranty bat. good initial performance, poor durability. We went with an all aluminum Easton this fall and have been very satisfied - but we paid twice the price. February 6, 2014
great for travel ball it feels good in my hands and good when it rips the ball over the fence. December 1, 2013
Son Loves It My son wanted a new bat for his 10th birthday. We set a maximum of $60, but once he started testing bats and reading reviews, he quickly decided he wanted to make the jump to this bat for $100. He had received $40 and used all of that money to makeup the difference and he's happy he did. We were all joking about it being "the magic bat" and based on its reviews he was putting a lot of hope into it making the difference between grounders and home runs. Well, the first couple of games he actually hit worse and struck out a few times too. But he didn't lose faith and now everything has changed. He got two sweet line drives for a triple and a single, a walk and a strikeout in his last game and that was just fine with him! In his last two scrimmages, he had more great hits and now his teammates want to borrow his bat. After secretly renaming it "The Tragic Bat" on the sidelines, we have given it back its original nickname,The Magic Bat! ***After reading everything I could to figure out if the bat was legal in our league, I finally emailed the Umpire in Chief of our league. He okayed the bat, saying that its only required to be on the acceptable bat list if it has a composite barrel. This bat, having an alloy barrel, and meeting the other Little League guidelines is okay for use. He suggested I print his email in case an ump questions at a game, and I shared the info with our coach, just to be safe. October 22, 2013
