Easton XL1 Youth Bat 2013 (-10) 4.9 5 30 30
Solid hitting bat! I bought this bat for my 8 year old grandson after he used a friend's and won the homerun derby with it. Since he got his many of his teammates want to use it. The ball comes off of the bat really fast and it sounds great when he hits it! May 15, 2013
xl1 Fantastic bat for my 9 yr old. I know bat is designed for power hitters but my son swings it just fine at a whopping 65 pounds. Bat has lots of pop and a favorite bat of the other players. May 15, 2013
Pop This bat is great it has so much pop once it come off the bat u feel that it is going to be a line drive May 13, 2013
awesome i have the 2013 xl1 31/21 awesome just awesome i have used it for 2 days and at practice i hit 20 over it wat amazing i showed my oponit that i could hit just like he could this is a great bat git it now! May 11, 2013
What a bat!!! First batting practice was a bit cool. We were just at the 60 degree mark. I told my son "just be easy and make contact." The XL1 added appx. 30-40 feet over his Combat sports bat which to this day has been the most solid bat I have seen. A good bat does not make a kid hit the ball, it does make a good batter hit the ball better. A+ to Easton for this product.. May 4, 2013
Lots of pop My son is eleven years old and plays majors in little league. We bought the 30/20 XL1. We just got the bat and it is great. He loves it. Right out of the box it performed great with increased distance on every hit. He's never hit the ball as hard and far. May 3, 2013
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM I used an xl1 and I hit my first home run to help my team beat the best in our league. May 3, 2013
Grand Slam My son loves this bat. 2weeks after purchasing it he hit Gus first home run and it was a grand slam! This bat increased his distance! April 30, 2013
A Rocket Launcher. I joke with my 11-year-old son that he should have a license to use this bat. Honestly, it's scary how fast the ball flies off of it. It's obvious to us that the ball is flying off it much faster and much deeper than his last. They should package this bat with a screen for the batting practice pitcher because you could very well need one to protect yourself from a well struck shot. The difference between this and his last (2012 DeMarini Voodoo -13 which might have lost some pop) bat is staggering. It's heavier obviously as it's a -10. However between the extra barrel length and the technology, I suppose, it's much more "forgiving". As opposed to a sweet "spot" it seems to have a sweet "area". He also reports that it doesn't sting him as often as the previously mentioned aluminum barreled bat. I've seen many reviews where the bat breaks. Hopefully, this one will hold up. April 30, 2013
This product has poor quality I got this bat on a Saturday, just in time for my son's game, 2nd time at bat, the bat's paint chipped and I can see all the under the paint stuff. It only getting worst since the paint continue to chip away and now other areas are doing the same. I have to say that for the kind of money I spent, I'm not a happy customer. I contacted Easton customer service, it will take 15+ day for me to send the bat and get a response to let me know if they even cover it. Very disappointed. April 23, 2013
