Great socks for circulation I have found that if I wear support socks that I don't have swelling in my legs and feet and these socks are thicker and warmer than socks at medical supply. January 28, 2013
Excellent outdoor-grade COMPRESSION sock for those with big calfs... I am a muscular man with fat over muscle, so have I very big calfs. Most "boot" type socks are too tight to pull over the calf or stop mid-calf, eventually cutting off circulation and leaving indentation rings, so finding a sock that TRULY works for me is a BLESSING! These Field & Stream socks are perfect for my needs... They are well-made and rise up all the way to my upper calf, just below my knee. More importantly, the are elastic enough to slip over my calfs and they offer a great COMPRESSION fit that really does feel nice after many hours of wearing them. I am so impressed! But they are expensive... I plan on buying a pair every pay period until I have a drawer full of them, and my other socks are going to Goodwill... January 17, 2013
