I purchased the PureFlow 2 out on a whim, I normally purchase Nike because the support I find in certain shoes of theirs. I was suggested to try a couple different brands and I tried the Brooks, and I really liked the shoe initally in the store, but since having them for three weeks now, it does not have the support I thought it had when I tried it on in the store. My work outs consist of running, lifting (not heavy) and T-25 in my basement. My L foot actually hurts worse when wearing the shoe which is the foot that needs the support. and my R foot it is comfortable.

The Brooks PureFlow 2 is the best running shoe out there! Very lightweight which I was looking for and good stability around the ankle. Brooks are overall my favorite running shoe and I have tried them all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by RunningTheWorld 200+ Miles A Month; These Shoes Are Spectacular!
I run about 200 miles a month as I train year-round for marathons and half marathons. I was wearing the Nike Air Pegasus, from version 27 to 29, and bought the 30's when they came out. As Nike always does, they cut cushioning from the forefront of the shoe -- where I land, on the balls of my feet -- and put even MORE cushioning on the heel -- where you're NOT supposed to land when running. After one run in them, I returned them, and the Brooks PureFlow were suggested to me. It has made a HUGE difference!
I shaved 4 minutes off of my marathon time in these (3:44 in May to 3:40 in October 2013), as well as 5 minutes off of my half marathon time (1:48 in May to 1:43 in October).
These are the FIRST running shoes I don't need an insert in; I can just run in them as I bought them.
They currently have about 500 miles on them, and I noticed breakdown at about 400. 400 miles on good shoes for $80... just can't be beat. I will DEFINITELY be buying only Brooks from now on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bleachermomma Most cushiony running shoes ever!
I workout 5-6 times a week from 5 mile runs to bleachers, to body pump classes-these shoes rock! I have NO knee pain when I wear these shoes. They have a tilt that takes the pressure off of your knee. The cushioning beats New Balance hands down. They have current designs so everyone loves them!!'

Rated 5 out of 5 by mm5432 They make running easier
I'm not a runner, but these shoes make running easier. The shape of the shoe makes it easier to run properly. I got my normal size and they were perfect. I have seen some people wearing these for crosstraining exercises/group exercise classes, which I would NOT recommend-they are not meant for lateral movement, like most other running shoes. Highly recommend!
