great look great pop our of wrapper, knock off miken
My best friend and I play on the same ASA softball team. I can't drop bombs so i purchased the 27oz balanced. MY buddy big time homerun hitter so he got the 28oz supermaxed. This was the first bat I ever purchased for softball and after a long year last year not liking any of the bats on my team i decided to invest in a new bat this year. Knowing mikens are top of the line softball bats and this yaers freak nxt was the most balanced i had swung at any retail store i decided this would be a good purchase.
Out of the wrapper it was hot as advertised so i was excited about the tournament i was about to play in the following weekend, figuring after it was all over the bat would have been broken in and ready for a long summer of stinging line drives all over the yard. Tournament came and my best friend hit before me, fisrt swing, towering shot over ther fence, super stoked only to pick up the bat and find that it had cracked on hist first swing. My balanced version made it trhough the tourny with no cracks but in my following league game that week i found a nice crack smack dab in the middle of the barrell.
After doing some research, found this bat is not on mikens website at all and is only sold at dicks. so in my head im thinking its a knock off version of the good mikens we all have come to know and love and for 200 bones i would hope it would at least last the season.
Great looking bat, great pop out of wrapper, but will not last long at all... i mean we had two crack within a week of eachother, not looking forward to the month or two proces its gonna take to get my replacement bat back considerings half the season will be over by then

I ALREADY HAD ONE SUPERMAX AND NOW I GOT THIS BALANCED AND PERFORMS AS GOOD AS OTHER MIKEN RIGHT OUT OF THE WRAPPER

Great Bat Out of the Wrapper
Used this bat for the first time this weekend at a scrimmage and it was a major hit (pun intended)!

Great bat
Great bat for the price, takes about 60 - 80 hits to really start to get it broke in but then the ball just jumps off the bat first miken and love it.

This product has great feel.
Action off the bat is good when you hit the sweet spot but reverberation off mishits is very noticeable. The narrow handle allows for good hand action.
