I have been camping for over 30 years and have always been in search off a sleeping bag mattress that would give me good body support and I would wake up pain free. This pad finally filled the bill. I used it three nights in a row and never had to add air, actually released some because the pad was too firm. It does take a while to release the air as others have stated but that is just a small draw back to a good nights sleep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by harmonjazzman great deal
So far so good. Haven't used in trail yet, but can't wait! Not add difficult to deflate as others say. Does take a little time, but still packs down nicely after deflation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by portcyclist Easy to inflate not so easy to deflate
I like the weight and size. When inflated the overall dimensions are terrific. The only issue is that wnen trying to deflate the I-beam construction makes it very difficult to deflate

This item is top notch, it took a second to figure out a good method to blow it up, but once I used my hand instead of my foot it blew up in no time at all. It stayed inflated all night long and was really comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rick C Comfortable sleep pad
The pad held air, was comfortable and was easy to inflate. The only downside is the valve to deflate the pad. It is located on one side and is very slow to get all of the air out. What is needed is 2 valves. One on each corner. Then you could get all of the air out quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Slipshot Slow to Deflate
To me all these blow-up sleep pads are overpriced, so with that in mind, this one is probably a better value than most. The internal pump is only a foam filled section of one of the tubes (this is probably the norm), and you must cover the intake hole on the down-stroke to force air in the matress. It works ok, maybe kind of slow. Comfort is OK and the non-slip bottom seems to keep the matress from slidding around on the tent floow. The pillow is actually the jewel of the two. It has a cavity in the center that does a good job keeping it under your head, surprisingly comortable. The main issue I have with the product is in delfating, not inflating or comfort. Deflating is VERY slow and cumbersome. Bottom line, it badly needs another release valve in the other upper corner. The air inside the matress can only travel from tube to tube at the very top and bottom of the matress. Problem is when the matress is under heavy pressure, like when you are trying to force all the air out, the ends crinkle and crimp the between-tube passageways. You end up having to, keep pressure on the matress (via knees, torso, body, etc) while reaching and pulling each top corner apart so the air can excape. This is a small issue while inflating too, but you expect inflating to be slower than deflating. I'm seriously considering returning this item and pruching one with side-to-side tubes, rather than end-to-end. Problem is, those cost you half again as much....which leads us back to my opening comment....Bottom line, if you don't mind the deflation process, buy it. It's probably the best deal you'll find on sleeping pads of this type.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Packer Good for money
comfortable, large pad. Much larger than other pads i have( width wise). The only real negative i have with this pad is it takes a very long time to pump up! Otherwise, a fine product for the money....

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cakeladyjake Solid sleeping!
I bought 2 of these to use for Memorial Day weekend. I was still recovering from surgery and didn't want to lay on the ground, and I was bringing a virgin camper and didn't want him to experience all the joys of camping on his first trip. One of the mattresses held air just perfectly all weekend, and the other didn't.
We had an easy exchange when we got back to IL and the new one works well too!
