this is now number 14 of my collection and out of all my guns this would be in the top 3 or if I could put two number one's this would be it, ok to start I like everything about this, i'v herd people don't like the trigger ? trigger works great and can be adjusted but myn was perfect right out of the box, and as far as the scope its okay I plain to put a bigger or stronger should I say because of the distance this rifle will shoot, and I dono what people are saying that it was hard to put the scope on? it only go's on one way line the set pin up in the rear hole in the barrel and the rest is basic, does it sound like a 22 ? no but it does have a lot of power so be ready for that kick back.this is no toy and shouldn't be left in reach of a child or shot around kids, I RECOMMEND THS 100% A TRUELY GREAT AIR RIFLE...

So, I was starting to feel like Bill Murray from Caddyshack. I had two squirrels constantly on my bird feeder. I would shoot at them with a small Daisy BB gun to no avail. Even if I hit them, they would come right back. So I got mad and bought this pellet gun. I bought the lead free high velocity pellets as well. When I took it out of the box, the weight surprised me. It is well balanced, and has enough weight to help steady your aim. I was going to put the scope on it, but the squirrel was mocking me. The iron sights looked good so I thought I would try a shot with the irons. I loaded one of the high velocity rounds and took a shot at the squirrel. The first pellet out of the gun went straight through the squirrels head. I was surprised to say the least. I had not even zeroed the gun. The sights were right on. I decided to keep the scope off for the time being. The gun sounds almost as loud as a .22, and has a light recoil. Great pellet rifle.

It is a decent airgun. However, it is really heavy. You also need strength to pump it. But otherwise, how can you get the high velocity? That's two sides of one product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by russel Very accurate!
I bought this rifle a few months ago and have love shooting it since. I never mounted the scope and just use the iron sights. I like how bright the sights are, but they are a little too big. I can hit a 2in steel target at about 40yds every time with this rifle. The talk about it being as powerful as a .22lr isn't true. It won't flip the targets let alone reset them. (my .22lr with subsonic rounds will with ease). It is great for some plinking and pest control. The break action is very stiff at first but after 20-30 rounds seems to break-in.
The scope is mounted to my .22lr, and works great for that! It mounted right up and was very close to zero from the start. I considered the scope to be a nice bonus that came with an excellent air rifle.

I purchased this gun today in-store and it works great. At first it is hard to pull the barrel back but then you get used to it. The iron sights are pretty good but not the best. The scope is a little tricky to put on and will take some time. The gun is very solid and has a good weight to it. It feels like shooting a .22 and almost sounds like it too. would not recommend this gun for a kid because it way to powerful and hard to pull back the barrel. The pellets go pretty far because in my back yard the woods are about 120 yards away and i could hear them hitting the trees. The gun dose have some kick to it but not too much. I would say it great for target shooting and medium- small game hunting. I give it a 5 out of 5. Best pellet gun i have ever owned.

When you buy this you will not be displeased. This gun has a lot of power and will kill just about anything you point it at so be careful. I would say that this gun should not be given to anyone under 14 years old who knows nothing about gun safety. This gun is extremely accurate when you sight the scope in properly. I can shoot from 50 yards at a cinder block and it will chip it. My only complaints about this gun are that it is really heavy which makes shooting from a standing position a little challenging. Also be sure to tighten the bolts on the scope really well because the scope will just about fly off the gun after the first 50 shots. After you have tightened, cleaned, and zeroed in everything your pest problems and targets are in for a rude awakening!!!! Bottom line buy this gun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LDB amazing product once again by Crosman
This air rifle has tons of power. It tears aluminum cans to shreds after about 10-20 shots hit. Feels like firing a 22 and has about the same amount of power. It never missfires, even when the pelet is put in the wrong way in the barrel. I wouldn't suggest this to a new younger shooter though but maybe a smaller fun to shoot bb gun would be great.

Shoots <1" groups at 20 yards w/ Crosman Premier hollow points. Punches though 1/4" wood then chips stone at 30 yards. Trigger mods may make gun more dangerous so I use extreme caution when trigger is modified in any way. My trigger is smooth and short pull like a 22 rifle when a Boca 5mm ID x (8mm or 9mm or 10mm) OD x (2.5mm or 3mm) wide ball bearing is installed to reduce trigger pull. Trigger mod may not work on other guns; don't try trigger mods at home. If bearing is too large gun will not be safe. Scope internal eyepiece lens retaining ring is plastic and jumps a thread after a couple hundred rounds. I installed locktite in attempt to hold plastic ring in position. I removed eyepiece and quickly stood scope on table w/ eyepiece down to minimize N2 loss. Not end of the world if N2 is lost; may have some condensation when temp changes suddenly. To use this scope accurately I marked a sighting circle near center of eyepiece w/ Sharpie to compensate for parallax. If that's too much trouble you could buy a better heavy duty scope w/ AO. The iron sights are highly visible and work great; I shot about 2" group at 20 yards w/o much practice. I sanded and refinished my stock being careful to avoid uneven stain penetration. My Crosman Vantage now looks and shoots fantastic!
