10'6 drift float I landed 2 winters back to back on my second outing with this rod. Good sensitivity and alot of power for hook setting n landing of my 2 steelies. Overall very happy with the rod would of given it excellent if the rod was a tad lighter, but cant complain, for the price, a really good rod for bobber n jig. April 7, 2013
great rod for the price I just bought a 10-6 noodle rod and im very pleased. I landed two very nice steelhead and the rod preformed well It has a lot of flex on the tip and lots of backbone near the handle. I had no problem landing the fish.great rod for float fishing! January 19, 2013
I'm sorry to say it wasn't good enough ! I use that smoke spinning reel for drift fishing on rivers. My line kept getting hung up under the housing and in the gears. I was willing to replace it with a Shimano reel larger model, there wasn't one in stock, the Shimano would have cost me another 60 dollars, and there wasn't anything else I would have so I returned for cash back.
